You're not some special snowflake who possess a special ability to recognize RIL has nothing of merit to offer amongst a sea of hundreds of millions who appreciate all that it has to offer. Don't get me wrong, I like it a lot, it's a fine song, the groove is fantastic and the musicianship is excellent, but lyrically it's empty. I'd much rather take the interesting and weird stuff they did in Turn than the watered down jazz with some unremarkable solos of Reelin in the years. I Love Steely Dan. I wish Steely Dan would get more demand and respect for the quality of their music. You simply just don't like it and/or don't understand the things that make it great..and that's okay. Then after it I have added some extra tracks which I deem worthy to be added (adding as I find them).
